Most homeowners replacing a system don't realize the install crew often doesn't take the old equipment with them — and even when they do, they leave the disconnected ductwork, the rusted-out pad, the old thermostat boxes, and a yard full of packaging. That's where we come in.

Refrigerant must be reclaimed by a licensed HVAC technician before we pick up an AC unit — EPA Section 608 prohibits releasing refrigerant during disposal. If your HVAC contractor evacuated the system during their service call, you're good to go. If not, schedule a tech for the recovery first, then call us for the haul. We don't recover refrigerant ourselves but we can recommend local DFW HVAC techs who do.
